This piece carries lightness, real feathers, dried flowers, fragments of sheet music, and old newspaper, all pressed into layers of pink and blue.
Built up with print techniques, collage, and mixed media. Some of the elements were pressed directly onto the surface. In print, their shadows still show. That's not a flaw. It's the memory of touch.
Part of my first intuitive series, made without a plan, without thinking everything through. Just adding, removing, letting it find its own shape. A flow, not a formula.
Pair it with the other works in the Natural Flow series for a wall that keeps revealing something new.
