This strawberry wasn't painted. It was pressed, pulled, and coaxed into being, layer by layer, print by print.
Built up with acrylic paint and print techniques, each layer was pressed onto the surface while still wet. When the layers lifted, they didn't always let go cleanly. That resistance left something behind, a gritty, imperfect texture that no brush could fake.
Look closely, and you'll find a ghost print in the background. A faint echo of the image, left behind by accident. That happy mistake is what makes the whole thing feel alive.
Warm, earthy, a little bruised. Not perfect, but completely real.
