This piece breathes the blue of a spring sky, open, quiet, alive.
Real dried flowers and leaves, skeleton leaves, fragments of sheet music, and a small handwritten note that says buiten spelen (go play outside). It's an invitation as much as a painting.
Built up with print techniques, collage, and mixed media. Some of the elements were pressed directly onto the surface. In print, their shadows still show. That's not a flaw; it's the memory of touch.
Part of my first intuitive series. Made without a plan, without thinking everything through. Just adding, removing, letting it find its own shape. A flow, not a formula.
Pair it with the other works in the Natural Flow series for a wall that keeps revealing something new.
